The right venue needs to fit the event you are creating. A trade show requires a different layout from a wedding reception, and a corporate presentation has different needs from a community fundraiser.
The Northern Indiana Event Center brings these possibilities together on the RV/MH Heritage Foundation campus at 5600 Executive Parkway in Elkhart, near Exit 96 of I-80/90.
Choose a space around your program
Our four primary event spaces are Ingram Hall, Champion Hall, the East Wing, and the Peter B. Orthwein Pavilion. Additional spaces include the Younkin Theatre, Board Room, and Kindlund Library & Archives for activities coordinated with our team.
Start with your attendance range, seating format, staging, exhibits, and guest flow. Room capacity depends on the approved layout, so discuss your complete program before settling on a space.
Build a useful event brief
- Event type, preferred dates, and possible alternatives.
- Estimated attendance and seating requirements.
- Setup, delivery, rehearsal, and cleanup needs.
- Food service, entertainment, and vendor plans.
- Microphones, presentations, lighting, and other technical requirements.
- Accessibility and guest arrival considerations.
These details help the Events team develop a proposal that reflects what your gathering actually needs.
Confirm the full scope
Current base rental rates are listed on the venue page. Final proposals depend on the room, dates, layout, equipment, services, and event requirements. Confirm catering, beverage service, decorations, and any museum access with the team before making commitments to vendors.
Discuss basic AV needs early. For specialized production, the Foundation’s preferred AV provider, EA Pro Music, is a resource to consider.
