The Northern Indiana Event Center is a non-smoking facility. Event staff will identify any approved outdoor smoking location and related requirements for your event.
Food and beverage service must be arranged with a preferred or pre-approved caterer. Caterers must satisfy the venue’s licensing, insurance, permit, and terms-of-service requirements before approval.

The campus can support business meetings, expos, corporate training, banquets, celebrations, reunions, weddings, receptions, showers, trade shows, and other approved events. Staff will help match the event to an appropriate space.
Begin with the Host an Event inquiry. An inquiry alone does not reserve a date. Staff will confirm availability and the agreement, deposit, and payment requirements that must be completed to secure the reservation.
Decorations must be approved and generally must be free-standing rather than attached to walls or ceilings. Candles require safe containers. Confetti, glitter, helium balloons, fog machines, and other high-mess or atmospheric items require explicit written approval; the executed agreement controls.
Capacity depends on the venue, seating layout, equipment, aisles, event type, and applicable safety requirements. Event staff will confirm a planning capacity for your proposed layout in writing.
A stage and limited audio/visual equipment may be available for certain rooms. Bands and DJs must use approved equipment and may not modify or overload the building’s electrical system. Confirm availability, specifications, and pricing with staff.
Available tables, chairs, Wi-Fi, parking, audio/visual equipment, setup support, and other services vary by room and event. The written proposal and agreement will identify exactly what is included.
The current venue pages list approved weekday and weekend base rates. Eligible nonprofit organizations receive a 10% discount with W-9 documentation. Staff will confirm the final event-specific proposal.
Alcohol service must be discussed with event staff and approved in writing. Do not bring or serve alcohol unless staff confirms the current licensing, permit, service, and event-layout requirements. The executed agreement and current Indiana requirements control.
