One man changed the industry! Elmer Frey! Marshfield Homes! 1954!

He built the 10-foot wide home! This allowed for a hallway! A corridor! No more walking through one room to get to the next! True residential design!

  • 1961: 98% of homes are 10-wides.
  • THE RESULT: Total industry dominance!
