Stay at the Museum

Traveling through Elkhart in your RV? Museum visitors can stay overnight on the RV/MH Heritage Foundation campus, subject to event schedules and availability.

Complimentary Boondocking

Boondocking is free with at least one paid museum admission per RV stay, for a maximum of two consecutive nights. No Foundation utility connection is included. Park only where Foundation staff directs you.

Advance Foundation confirmation is required. All stays depend on Museum and Event Center schedules and availability. A request alone is not a reservation.

Electric Hookups

Electric hookup is $40 per night. Paid stays may be longer when approved by Foundation staff. Use only approved electric service with safe, properly rated equipment.

Guest registration and the approved liability waiver are required. Call (574) 293-2344 to discuss your stay. Foundation staff will confirm availability and direct you to your parking space.

Camping is unavailable September 8 through October 4, 2026, and August 12 through August 18, 2027, inclusive. Please choose dates outside these blackout periods and check the camping calendar below for updates. Tell Foundation staff about your proposed stay. Every stay depends on Museum and Event Center schedules and must be confirmed before arrival. Submitting this form is not a reservation.

Required next step: After staff confirms availability, every guest party must complete the Foundation’s approved registration and liability waiver. This request form does not replace or amend that agreement.
